A fly over

AWAL HEADER AHCDB HEADER

Yesterday was a great day, except for discovering a bad fuel pump on Lexi, no she wasn't out of fuel , had two full tanks, it's either a bad switchover valve or bad pump, could get lucky and only need a new filter, I checked that earlier but hey I might have missed something. Any myle, went up to the new studios and its a far cry from where I was last year this time. Both Scott and Brad from Portland was here installing some of our new gear, and working the kinks out of the backend of the web site. Working with a outfit out of Washington state on the new control boards, although I'd love to have an old ITC Cart machine or two, carts, and cart recording unit, the folks at ACast sezz no a good thing for packet radio, so its all CD,DVD,and cassette. Along with me inside both IP streaming and ON THE AIR real radio. Yes we have our CP, came in the mail today. Did some STL testing signal is great. Hey this is real, and really happening. My how just a mere 40 miles makes a difference. Now all we really need to do, is get the permanent studio furniture in, the cat 5 and cat 6 cables ran, installed and tagged. Then its hammer time. Tested everything overnight and it is remarkable what can happen when you really dig in and do it. Got a Canon GL-2 coming to handle the video along with a Wheatstone switcher with Avid scalier to run on air graphics, still learning how to use that. But I'll get it figured out shortly. Doing broadcasting is nearly a 13 hour day without much sleep, it takes dedication and time to dig for the information needed for something like we are launching, having a handshake relationship with OOIDA doesn't hurt either. Just wanted to pass that by you, let you know we are now on the tarmac, doing the taxi hold waiting for clearance to take off. Hold on this is going to be one hell of a flyte.
