I knew that the changeover from Jay Leno to Connan O'Brien on the Tonight Show was going to hurt NBC, but not to the point it has become. Hell NBC is reaching back to mid June for recorded versions of Connan on the Tonight Show. Yuck. The new shows at least on NBC and that's all I can watch right now since attorneys have been sucking my wallet dry, thus no Dish yet, but NBC has some great shows coming. NCIS on CBS, stretched to a Hollywierd edition, I know both are, and the same producers , did up my names sake on CBS in 1984, that's right AirWolf. CBS also did up the Dukes, maybe we need that back on, oh if we could , huh. TV in general has really went into the toilet. We got more channels but not better programming. Now I don't expect to see or hear in my lifetime radio drama's again or where radio becomes the only real free over the air media, although in many cases radio is the only free over the air media. Yes I know there are or is, satellite radio, XM/Sirius, as well as IP Radio. But now that the change over from analog to digital TV has taken place, shouldn't we as viewer consumers demand better? Will having Jay on every week day at 21:00 hours resurrect NBC? Who knows, but maybe. I say get rid of the preloaded reality TV shows, lets get some good writers in there and lets see those one hour dramas and wholesome TV that I grew up with. Hell even a modern redoux of Airwolf would be a good start, as well as shall I say it again? Okay I will, the Dukes. While I'll never be able to do it, nor will the Knytes, be able, hey even we have our limitations, but building a TV station even a LPTV station is beyond our grasp. Producing shows to offer to a network is one thing, running a station is entirely different. I am into the radio half, and will see this through if it kills me. But TV really needs help. But its the repeats before the new shows. Hope it does get better.
