People who don't have diabetes, don't understand what it's like to be a person with diabetes. They don't understand the sugar rises and falls, they don't understand the emotional swings, they don't understand not being able to stand for long periods of time, nor being thirsty more than people who are not afflicted with diabetes. People who don't have diabetes, don't really understand the need to guard against extreme temprature changes in both environment and body. Or needing snacks all the damn time, nor needing to run home to take medication so that you can just stay alive even if it is another day, I keep praying God will punch my card soon so all of this world will end for me and I no longer need to suffer for these idiots on this planet especially areas in and around Evanston Wyoming , as well the Mountain West, where the gray matter flowing withing thy minds slows as it gets colder.
My friend Rick at the shop, wonders why I escape so much, nor can concentrate on projects at the shop, or why I need to ingest food, its to stabalize my sugar level. Otherwise I get as emotional as 14 year old girl who just discovered there's blood in her shorts. As long as I can maintain, my sugar level I'm okay, if not I get stupid as, well, as someone who was born and raised in Evanston Wyoming. Trust me friends intelligence is not the strong suit here.
I used to cuss my cousin Bud when he'd have extremes in emotional stability , due to sugar drops as well as elevated. Until he took a shot he was as crabby as well a few old ladies I know around here. For me its take a pill called Metformin, lithium, and Levothroxin, then I'm fine for a few hours. That's why I used to keep soda pop in my office at the shop, and was always sipping one, to maintain sugar levels. Plus having to poke my finger every 3 hours, and having veggies there at the shop, like celery sticks to munch on. Rick don't care but former associates of Hazzard County Choppers, didn't their kids got my stashed snacks and ate em. Which is why I used to keep the Subaru by my office door as my stash of snacks was in the center console and thus hidden but available.
Got the results from my colonoscopy yesterday, guess they need to do some more exploring , the Doc says they found something that they need to look at closer. Meaning their going in with more advanced explorative equipment. They say it's not cancer or anything, however something they never saw before was captured in the pics up my butt. So they got me scheduled for the week of the 16th., oh fun, I get to sleep on my stomache, which is something I hate doing.
So if you work with someone that has diabetes type 2 like me, and that person has mood shifts, difficulty in concentration, or followthrough on a project. Needs to take frequent breaks, as well as is constantly in need of water or drink, be understanding. He or she has type 2 diabetes, someday you might have it too.
